It acts as a pre-entry approval that permits you to travel to the destination country without applying for a full visa in advance. After arrival, the immigration office issues your visa.

The ETA application process is also completed online, and approval is sent to your email. However, unlike an eVisa that remains valid throughout its approved period, an ETA must be used within a set timeframe. Travelers need to arrive in the destination country within this period to complete their entry.

If this timeframe passes, the ETA is no longer valid, and a fresh application will be required.

Here is the list of countries offering eVisa and ETA facilities for Brazilian passport holders:

Países que necessitam de visto eletrónico (44)

Países com eTA obrigatória (7)

Destinos do visto à chegada

A Visto à chegada (VoA) is a visa that travelers can apply for directly after landing at the destination country’s airport or border crossing.
