When planning to travel abroad, Vietnamese citizens may face different entry requirements depending on the destination. Um Autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o eletr\u00f3nica de viagem (eTA)<\/b> is slightly different. It is a pre-entry approval that grants permission to board a flight to the destination country. Travelers complete the application online, and once approved, they can finalize their visa process upon arrival.<\/p>
While an eVisa remains valid for months or its approved period, an eTA comes with a certain timeframe in which travellers need to reach the destination and get their visa approved. If this time is over, the eTA becomes invalid, and travelers need to apply for a fresh one.<\/p>
