Um eVisa<\/b> is a type of visa that you can get completely online<\/b>. You don\u2019t need to visit an embassy or consulate to apply. Once approved, your eVisa will be sent to your correio eletr\u00f3nico<\/b>, and you can either imprimi-lo<\/b> ou keep a digital copy<\/b> on your phone to show at the airport.<\/p>
Um ETA (autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o eletr\u00f3nica de viagem)<\/b> is slightly different. It is a pre-approval to travel<\/b> that allows you to enter a country without applying for a visa beforehand<\/b>. After you arrive, the immigration officers<\/b> issue your visa at the airport.<\/p>
You can also apply for an ETA online<\/b>, and it will be sent to your email just like an eVisa. However, an ETA is valid only for a certain period of time<\/b>. You must travel to your destination within that validity period<\/b>.<\/p>
If you miss that timeframe, your eTA will no longer be valid. And you\u2019ll need to apply for a new ETA <\/b>before traveling again.<\/p>
