Visa Requirements for Bangladeshi Citizens

Bangladeshi citizens can visit many countries, but visa rules are different for each one. It’s always best to check the visa requirements of the country you plan to visit before applying.

Con una clasificación de pasaportes de 89 in the world, Bangladeshi passport holders can travel to 16 countries without a visa.

Bangladeshi travelers can apply online for an eVisa o Autorización electrónica de viaje (ETA) para visitar 60 países. In addition, nine (9) países ofrecen Visado a la llegada (VOA), which means Bangladeshi citizens can get their visa after arriving at the airport.

If a country needs a pegatina o visado sellado, applicants must go to that country’s embajada o consulado. Some embassies allow online appointments before visiting in person.

To travel abroad, Bangladeshi nationals must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the date of entry at the destination.

Countries Offering eVisa and ETA to Bangladeshi

En eVisa is a digital visa that you can easily apply for online. You don’t need to visit the destination country’s embassy or consulate for processing. Once your application is approved, you’ll receive the visa by email. You can print it or keep it on your phone to show at the airport when you travel.

Similarly, an ETA (Autorización electrónica de viaje) is also a digital travel permit. It allows you to visit a country without getting a visa in advance. After arriving, you can get your visa directly from the immigration authorities at the airport or border.

You can apply for both eVisa y ETA online, and they will be sent to your email. However, there is a small but important difference between them.

With an eVisa, you can travel at any time within its validity period. On the other hand, an ETA has a limited timeframe. You must enter the country and complete your visa process within that period. If you miss the deadline, your ETA will no longer be valid, and you will need to apply for a new one.
