South Korea eTA for Malaysians
Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) for South Korea is also known as Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA). Malaysian citizens are now allowed to apply for a South Korea eTA (K-ETA) online to travel to South Korea without visiting the embassy. It is a simple and fast way of eTA application that requires submitting a few documents online, and the process can be done in a short period.
The validity of the South Korea eTA for Malaysia is for three (3) years from the date of issue or until the validity of the applicant’s passport, whichever comes first. During this period, Malaysians are allowed to enter South Korea multiple times. Each stay can last for up to 90 days (3 months) per visit.
Once the eTA is approved, it will be sent to your email, and you can download it directly from there. You can either show a printed copy of your eTA or a digital copy downloaded to your phone to the authority when entering South Korea, as the border authorities accept both.
In case you need any guidance or assistance, please consult with us before starting the application.
