How much does the Singapore eVisa cost?

Singapore eVisa pricing depends on your nationality and processing speed. Assessment Level 2 nationalities start from USD $99 on Standard processing, and Assessment Level 1 (CIS region) nationalities start from USD $139. All prices are all-inclusive (Singapore government fee, our local-sponsor LOI fee, and our service fee) with no hidden currency conversion.

How long is the Singapore eVisa valid?

The Singapore tourist eVisa is valid for 63 days from the date of issue. On each entry, ICA officers grant a length of stay of up to 29 days stamped in your passport. The visa tells you by when you must enter Singapore, the stamp tells you how long you can remain on that entry.

What documents do I need?

A colour scan of your passport data page (valid at least 6 months beyond entry, with 1 to 2 blank pages), a recent 35 x 45 mm white-background passport photo taken within the last 3 months, your return or onward flight booking, and a confirmed hotel booking covering your stay. Applying through us removes the bank-statement and LOI requirements.

Do I still need to submit the Singapore Arrival Card?

Yes. The SG Arrival Card is a separate electronic declaration every traveller must file within 3 days before arrival, including eVisa holders. It is a health and immigration declaration tied to your passport number, not a visa.

Can I work in Singapore with this visa?

Accepted Answer

No. The Singapore eVisa is a tourist and short-visit visa only. It does not permit paid employment. For work in Singapore you would need a separate Work Permit, Employment Pass or S Pass sponsored by a Singapore employer.

Which items are banned or restricted when entering Singapore?

Accepted Answer

Singapore has strict import rules. Vapes and e-cigarettes are illegal to bring in or use, chewing gum is heavily restricted, and drugs carry extremely severe penalties including the death penalty for trafficking. Duty-free allowances for alcohol are limited and there is no duty-free concession on cigarettes, so declare tobacco.

What local laws and fines should visitors be aware of?

Singapore is famously orderly, and fines apply for things visitors might not expect, such as littering, jaywalking, eating or drinking on the MRT, and smoking outside designated areas. Vaping in public is penalised too. A little awareness keeps your trip smooth and fine-free.

The Singapore eVisa is commonly issued as multiple entry, which is ideal if you plan to cross the causeway to Johor Bahru in Malaysia and return. Confirm your visa type, and remember Malaysia has its own entry requirements, so check both sides before you travel.

Singapore is warm, humid, and tropical year-round, so there's no bad time weather-wise, though February to April tends to be slightly drier. The wetter monsoon months bring short, heavy downpours. Many visitors time trips around events like the Formula 1 night race or festive light-ups.

The currency is the Singapore dollar (SGD). Cards, contactless payments, and mobile payments are accepted almost everywhere, so you can travel largely cashless. Singapore is one of Asia's pricier cities, especially for alcohol, hotels, and taxis. You can travel well on a budget by eating at hawker centers where excellent meals cost a few dollars, using the efficient MRT instead of cabs, and enjoying free attractions like Gardens by the Bay's outdoor gardens and the light shows.

Not really. Tipping is not part of the culture, and many restaurants already add a ten percent service charge plus GST to the bill. You're not expected to tip taxi drivers or hawker stalls, though rounding up or leaving small change for good service is always welcome.
