Golden temples, delightful street food adventures, and breathtaking island sunsets are just a few clicks away. Now you may say goodbye to long embassy lines and the hassle of complicated paperwork, because the Thailand eVisa is here to be your travel bestie. We’re excited to break it all down for you, which is quick, easy, and totally stress-free.
Check If You’re Eligible
Most nationalities can apply directly by having a valid passport. Some countries, like Bangladesh, usually require a valid visa or residence permit from Schengen countries, the USA, Canada, etc., to be eligible. You can check your nationality before applying for Thailand on our website.

Collect your documents
Getting your eVisa starts with just a few clicks and the right documents:
- A scanned copy of your passport (must be valid for at least 6 more months)
- A recent color passport-style photo (taken within the last six months)
- A travel itinerary with a planned arrival date and accommodations
- A valid email address to receive updates and your eVisa
- Bank statement (last 6 months)
Depending on your nationality, you might also need proof of residence or a valid visa for certain countries.
Tip: Double-check your passport. It must have at least one blank page.
Fees & Processing Time
When it comes to obtaining your eVisa, the standard processing time is about 10 working days. If you’re looking for something quicker, our Premium Processing option takes just 5 working days, though there’s a slightly higher fee.
Please keep in mind that fees can vary based on your nationality and desired speed. But they are usually comparable to or even lower than the cost of a visa on arrival.
Step‑by‑Step Process
There are a few steps you have to follow to apply for your evisa. Those are:
- Visit the eVisas or open the mobile app. Create an account over there, and start the journey by selecting your country.
- Upload your necessary documents: passport, photo, itinerary, and extras if needed.
- Pay the fee online via credit/debit card, but Visa and Mastercard are also acceptable.
- Wait for approval. Once your evisa is ready, it will be sent directly to your email. Then download and print your eVisa from your email or account.
Tips for Photo Upload
This one matters. The wrong photo is equal to rejection. Follow these simple rules:
- Use a plain, light-colored background (white meets requirements).
- Capture a clear, face‑forward, neutral expression (no sunglasses or headwear).
- Format: JPG/JPEG under 3 MB;
- Preview before submitting, as errors can lead to delays or rejection.
N.B.: Use natural light for the best results.
Stay & extensions
Most tourist eVisas are valid for 90 days from issue and allow a 60-day stay (some allow extension once more once in Thailand).
Arrival & Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)
- Starting May 1, 2025, Thailand requires a separate Digital Arrival Card. You need to submit this online within 3 days before your arrival.
- All you have to show is your passport, printed eVisa, and arrival card at Thai immigration.
