Visa Requirements for Portugal Citizens
Few passports open the world like Portugal’s, clearing almost every border on arrival. For the handful that still need an online eVisa or eTA, we file it and return the approval to your inbox.

About Portugal Passport
The Portuguese passport is one of the strongest in the world, ranked near the top of the Henley Passport Index, with visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to roughly 188 destinations. As an EU and Schengen member, Portugal gives its citizens full freedom of movement across the bloc, plus visa-free travel to the United States and Brazil.
Only a focused group of countries still asks Portuguese travellers for an online eVisa or eTA - and those are exactly the ones we handle for you. Wherever you travel, keep your passport valid for at least six months from your arrival date.

As an EU and Schengen member, Portugal gives its citizens full freedom of movement: you can live, work and travel across the bloc on a passport or national identity card, with no border checks between most member states. Because you are an EU citizen, you also never need ETIAS for Europe.
Across the Atlantic, the United States is open on an ESTA through the Visa Waiver Program, and Brazil is visa-free thanks to long-standing ties. Britain now needs the UK ETA before you fly - a quick online step, not a full visa, which we can arrange for you.
