About Taiwan Passport
The Taiwan passport ranks around 31st on the Henley Passport Index, with visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to roughly 134 destinations - including the Schengen area, Japan, South Korea, the UK and much of Southeast Asia. For visa-free travel, your passport must carry your national ID card number.
A focused group of countries still asks Taiwanese travellers for an online eVisa or eTA - including newer ones like the UK ETA - and those are exactly the ones we handle for you. Wherever you travel, keep your passport valid for at least six months from your arrival date.

Regional travel for Taiwan
Read the travel policy details for Taiwan
Some of the most popular trips from Taiwan need no visa at all. Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Macau are visa-free for Taiwanese passport holders, and the Schengen area, the UK and much of Southeast Asia welcome you visa-free for short stays - so most regional travel needs nothing from us.
One detail is load-bearing: visa-free entry to Europe, Japan, the UK and others needs a Taiwan passport that shows your national ID card number. Taiwan is also outside the EU, so an ETIAS will apply for Europe, the US needs an ESTA, and Britain now requires the UK ETA before you fly.
