Summary

In short: upload a clear colour photo or scan of your passport bio-data page, flat and evenly lit, showing all four corners and the two lines of code at the bottom, with no glare, blur or fingers in the way. When the scan is clear, our system reads it and fills your name, passport number, date of birth, nationality and expiry into the form automatically. You just check and confirm.

Your passport fills in the application for you

Nobody enjoys typing passport numbers and dates into a form, and one wrong character is the single most common reason applications get delayed. So we take that job off your hands.

When you upload a clear scan or photo of your passport, our system reads the machine-readable zone (the two lines of code at the bottom of the page) along with the data page, and fills your details straight into the application:

  • Full name, exactly as printed

  • Passport number

  • Date of birth

  • Nationality and issuing country

  • Date of issue and date of expiry

The catch is simple: this only works when the information is actually visible. A sharp, glare-free scan that shows all four corners and the full code at the bottom lets the system read every field. A blurry, cropped or reflective scan reads less, so you would fill more in by hand. The clearer your passport image, the more the form completes itself.

In short, this is how our system works

  1. Upload

Upload your passport file while prompted during your application process

  2. Processing

Our system will read the MRZ and passport data page

  3. Confirm

All fields will be automatically filled, and you confirm if the data are right or not

  4. Expert review

After you submit your application, then a real expert on our team checks the filled application against your passport before we submit, so nothing slips through

What a good passport scan needs

Follow these seven points and your scan will upload cleanly, read correctly and fill the form. They apply whether you use a scanner or your phone.

  • At least six months validity

Keep your passport valid well beyond your arrival date, as most destinations require it.

  • All details visible

Photo, name, passport number, date of birth and expiry date all clearly readable.

  • Corner to corner

Capture the whole bio-data page with all four corners in frame and a small margin.

  • Clear and sharp

No blur, no dark spots, and no glossy reflections across the text.

  • Colour, not black and white

A full-colour image so your photo and details verify correctly.

  • Accepted file format

Save as JPEG, PNG or PDF. Include the back page if it carries key details.

  • Code at the bottom visible

The two lines of machine-readable code must be sharp so the form can auto-fill.

A good scan, and the ones that get rejected

Compare a clean capture against the failures we see most. If your scan looks like any of the rejected examples, retake it before you apply.

How to capture your passport in under 3 minutes

A scanner is ideal, but a phone works just as well when you follow these steps.

  1. 1

    Open the bio-data page flat

Press the photo page flat on a dark, non-reflective surface so it does not curl.

  2. 2

    Light it evenly, no flash

Use soft light and turn the flash off to avoid glare on the laminate.

  3. 3

    Capture all four corners

Hold the camera straight above so the whole page fits, corners included, no fingers over it.

  4. 4

    Check it is sharp

Photo, name, number, dates and the two bottom lines of code all crisp and legible.

  5. 5

    Save the right format

JPEG, PNG or PDF, and add the back page if your passport needs it.

  6. 6

    Upload and confirm

The form fills from your scan. Review the details, correct anything, and submit.

Why a passport copy is required

Uploading your passport is not busywork. It does three important jobs that protect you and speed up your approval.

Identity verification

It confirms the details you enter really match your passport, so your name, number and dates are correct.

Authenticity and security

It helps prevent fraud and reassures the authority that the application belongs to a genuine traveller.

Faster processing

A clear copy lets the form auto-fill and lets our team verify everything quickly, which means fewer holds and delays.

Upload once, and we take it from there

Don't worry, our experts manually check each requirement before submitting

Your passport does the typing, and a real person does the checking. Upload one clear scan, and our system fills in your name, number and dates while you simply confirm them.

Then our team reviews the whole application against your passport before it is submitted, so a mistyped digit or a mismatched name never holds up your visa. It is faster for you and safer for your approval, and the review is included in your service fee.

I took one photo of my passport and the whole form was basically filled in. All I did was check it and pay. Genuinely the easiest visa I have done.

PK flag

My first scan had a reflection over the number and it did not read it. They told me to retake without flash, and the second one filled everything.

AU flag

I always worry about typing my passport number wrong. Having it read straight off the scan and then checked by their team gave me real peace of mind.

US flag

Did four passports for the family from my phone on the sofa. Clear instructions and each one filled itself in. Approved within two days.

Passport upload FAQs

The questions travellers ask most about uploading a passport. Still unsure? Upload your copy and our team will check it for you.

You need the bio-data page, also called the information or photo page. This is the page that carries your photograph, full name, passport number, nationality, date of birth, date of expiry and the two lines of machine-readable code at the bottom. If your passport carries important details on the back or a separate page, upload that too.

One clear scan is all it takes

Pick your destination, upload your passport, and let the form fill itself while our team checks the details for you.
